about

The San Francisco Conference in the spring of 1945, taking place while World War II was ending, resulted in the creation of the United Nations. The journalists excelled in their coverage of the historic event. They were the first United Nations correspondents. They continue today the task of reporting on UN activities around the world.

This website aims to recognize all journalists who at present time are covering activities at UN headquarters in New York, Geneva, Vienna or in the fields. It recognizes also former UN correspondents who have moved on to other assignments.
